Angels.A supernatural being or spirit.Usually in humanoid form. They are our protectors.Our guide.They carry out the tasks assigned by a divine ruler.  When they disguise their selves in human form, their wings turn into a pendant with feathers. Each feather is thus valuable, as each feather holds the key in going back to heaven. What if an angel loses a feather?  Not being able to go back without it, Irin, the angel, looks for the feather and stumbles upon a young sick boy in a hospital, who has the feather. What will she do if she is to choose?The life of a boy or her way back to heaven? This hierarchy is made because of their roles, because of what their jobs are.Those angels who belong in the same rank as Irin serve as intermediaries between God and individual people. They don’t look over the nation instead, they safeguard households or individuals who believe in God and keep them away from evil. They are the nearest to the human beings therefore they are last in the hierarchy.The archangels. They, along with the angels, are guardians of all people and all things physical. The only difference between them and the angels ranking lower than them is they don’t respond to personal prayers rather they respond best when dealing with matters involving humankind.The next to them are the principalities. They are the angelic beings shaped like rays of light. They oversee everything. They are also in charge of earthly duties of the archangels and the angels.The principalities precede the powers. They appear like brightly colored, hazy fumes. They are the bearers of conscience and the keepers of history. They are warriors created to be completely loyal to God. Their duty is to oversee the distribution of power among humankind, hence their name.Virtues. Virtues are shaped-like sparks of light. They are in charge of maintaining the natural world, and they inspire living things. They also take orders from the angels above and convert them into miracles for the deserving.Dominions are next. The Dominions are the angels to look like divinely beautiful humans with a pair of feathered wings. They regulate the duties of lower angels.  They are also the angels who preside over nations.Next are the thrones. They look like great glowing wheels covered with many eyes. They serve as Gods chariot and dispense His judgment in order to carry out his desires for us.The second to the last is the cherubs. These angels are the keepers of celestial records and hold the knowledge of God. They are sent to Earth with great tasks.The highest among the angels are the seraphim. They are the angels who are closest to God. They are the highest angelic class and serve as the caretakers of Gods throne and continuously shout praises.But this is not what the story is all about…
